Synopsis of the 2023 Christmas announcement
Bea, overwhelmed by the list of things she has to prepare and the requests that are foisted on her, such as buying a Christmas ticket for her father, wishes that all the people around her would disappear, and this comes true. The next day she wakes up in a completely empty Madrid, streets without people, without traffic, closed shops... and that is when she realizes that her father is not there either and that she cannot talk to him. After the night she wakes up at her father's house and with the television broadcasting the Christmas Giveaway, she comes to the kitchen and finds her father, that's when they melt into a loving hug.
Presentation of the advertisement
This year's campaign was presented on November 15 at the Royal Mint of Madrid, an essential place in the history of the National Lottery, since it is where the tickets have been printed since 1940.
In the presentation, made by the president of State Lotteries and Betting, Jesús Huerta, he highlighted the work of SELAE: “Christmas has started today, the Lottery announcement is the beginning of these important dates. 'The Draw that unites us' is the slogan of the entire campaign, like other years, but Loterías y Apuestas del Estado continues to advance in its social work, in recent years we have helped five million people such as refugees, disadvantaged people, people without roof... Last year we helped 1,7 million people".
He also recalled that this year in the Christmas lottery 185 million tenths and 2.590 million in prizes are at stake.
